Race, Climb & Slide at Your Greenwich Event

From backyard birthdays to school field days, club events and large community celebrations, obstacle courses give kids and teens a fast-moving attraction they can race through again and again.

Extreme inflatable obstacle course rental for Greenwich CT school field days and large events

The Extreme Obstacle turns the traditional straight obstacle course into a twisting dual-lane challenge with pop-up obstacles, slides and a 10-foot wall climb before the final race to the finish.

Obstacle Courses for Events Big and Small

Greenwich events come in every size, and we've delivered obstacle courses here for everything from backyard birthdays to major school, club and community programs.

A smaller residential party may need a narrow course that fits comfortably in the yard, while a field day or large event may call for a multi-piece attraction with more obstacles, climbing and racing.

That's why we offer several very different styles instead of trying to make one obstacle course work for every event.

Years of Experience With Greenwich Schools & Organizations

New England Bounce About has been delivering inflatables throughout Greenwich, Old Greenwich, Riverside and Cos Cob for many years.

Our obstacle-course experience includes events for North Street School, Glenville School, Hamilton Avenue School, Old Greenwich School, Greenwich Country Day School and other local schools and youth programs.

We've also provided attractions for club and community events involving organizations such as Innis Arden Golf Club, Burning Tree Country Club and Greenwich-area community programs.

That local experience helps when you're planning a larger event where power, delivery access, generators, attendants and same-day scheduling may all need to be considered.

Planning a Greenwich Backyard Birthday?

One of the most consistently popular obstacle courses we've delivered for Greenwich-area parties is the 40ft Backyard Obstacle .

It gives kids a real head-to-head race with crawling, climbing and sliding while staying only about 11 feet wide.

The complete course measures approximately 40 feet long, 11 feet wide and 13 feet high, making it a strong starting point when you want obstacle-course excitement without the footprint of a large three-piece attraction.

It is a dry-use course and normally requires one separate 120V grounded circuit. Depending on placement and site conditions, an additional blower and circuit may occasionally be needed.

A Proven Choice for Greenwich School Field Days

Obstacle courses are especially useful for school field days because students keep progressing through the attraction.

Participants enter, race through a series of challenges, climb, slide out and make room for the next group instead of remaining inside one bounce area.

The Adrenaline Rush has been a particularly popular large obstacle course for Greenwich events.

This three-piece course measures approximately 34 feet long, 23 feet wide and 14 feet high and combines tunnels, pop-up obstacles, climbing areas and a large finishing slide.

Adrenaline Rush is dry-use only and requires three separate 120V grounded electrical circuits.

Want More Than a Straight-Line Race?

The Extreme Obstacle featured above changes things up with a twisting course rather than a traditional straight run.

Racers work through vertical and horizontal obstacles, slides and additional challenges before reaching a 10-foot wall climb and final slide.

Extreme measures approximately 40 feet long, 26 feet wide and 13 feet 6 inches high. It is a three-piece, dry-use attraction and requires three separate 120V grounded circuits.

This is a better choice when you have substantial space and want the obstacle course itself to become one of the main attractions at the event.

Made for High-Energy Community Events

Greenwich has a long history of larger family and community events where obstacle courses work especially well.

For several years, large racing obstacles were part of Greenwich-area Touch a Truck events, paired with generators, attendants and other attractions to handle a much larger crowd than a typical backyard party.

That kind of event is exactly where a large obstacle shines: participants continuously move through the course, race one another and exit for the next group.

If you're planning a festival, club event, fundraiser or large family day, tell us approximately how many guests you expect and how much field space is available so we can recommend an appropriate size.

Make the Obstacle Course Part of the Theme

For birthday parties and themed events, you can also choose from obstacle courses featuring popular characters and movie themes.

Current options include Star Wars, Jurassic World, Avengers, Spider-Man, Despicable Me and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Many of these are approximately 50 feet long and combine character graphics with tunnels, pop-up obstacles, climbing and racing slides, allowing the inflatable to serve as both entertainment and a major visual centerpiece.

Need One of Our Biggest Challenges?

If you have a large event space and want something dramatically bigger than a backyard course, ask about the Crash Course .

Its unusual figure-eight design creates a long series of obstacles, tunnels, squeeze points, climbing and sliding challenges inside one enormous attraction.

Crash Course is best suited to large events where there is plenty of setup space, clear access and sufficient electrical power.

Need Something for Younger Children?

A large racing course isn't always the best choice when most of your guests are preschoolers.

The Fun Express Toddler Train provides lower climbing, sliding and obstacle activities that are easier for smaller children to navigate.

Its lower overall profile can also make it useful for certain indoor school, preschool, church and gym events.

Which Obstacle Course Fits Your Greenwich Event?

Backyard Party

The 40ft Backyard Obstacle is usually the first option to consider when width and residential electrical access matter.

School or Club Event

Adrenaline Rush and Extreme offer substantially more challenges and visual impact when you have the room and power for a three-piece attraction.

Themed Birthday

Choose one of our 50ft themed courses when you want racing, climbing and sliding combined with a recognizable party theme.

Plan the Space, Power & Access Before Delivery

Large obstacle courses require more planning than a standard bounce house.

The 40ft Backyard Obstacle normally requires one separate electrical circuit, while Adrenaline Rush and Extreme each require three.

If the required circuits are not available near the setup area, New England Bounce About also offers generator rentals .

For schools, clubs and larger organizations, let us know about gates, long distances, hills, blacktop setups and same-day pickup requirements when planning the event.

We can also provide event attendants when appropriate.
