A Straightforward Choice for a Backyard Birthday

When you want a real racing course without a huge footprint, the 40ft Backyard Obstacle is a practical place to start.

Trumbull customers have chosen the Backyard Obstacle repeatedly for residential parties as well as a local preschool event.

It measures approximately 40 feet long, 11 feet wide and 13 feet high and combines obstacle sections, climbing and a slide finish.

It is designed for dry use and normally requires one separate 120V grounded electrical circuit.

Change the Theme Without Giving Up the Race

Trumbull families have rented an unusually wide range of our themed obstacle courses over the years.

Local events have included Jurassic World, Spider-Man, Avengers, Star Wars and Despicable Me, while newer Trumbull reservations include Sonic the Hedgehog and the Fire Truck featured above.

This gives you the option of matching the main inflatable to the birthday theme instead of decorating around a generic obstacle.

Jurassic World for Dinosaur Fans

The 50ft Jurassic World Obstacle has been a recurring choice for Trumbull parties.

Racers enter through the dinosaur-themed course, move through obstacle pop-ups and climbing areas and finish down the slide.

Jurassic World measures approximately 50 feet long, 11 feet wide and 13 feet high.

It can be used wet or dry and requires two separate 120V grounded electrical circuits.

That makes it a particularly useful option for a summer birthday when you want an obstacle race and water-slide finish in the same rental.

Another Wet/Dry Option: Despicable Me

The 50ft Despicable Me Obstacle has also been chosen for a Trumbull event.

It uses two sections filled with Minion graphics, obstacle pop-ups, climbing and a dual-lane slide finish.

The attraction measures approximately 50 feet long, 11 feet wide and 17 feet high and can be used wet or dry.

It's a good alternative when you want a colorful summer obstacle but don't necessarily want a superhero or dinosaur theme.

More Space? Step Up to Adrenaline Rush

Trumbull customers have also used the Adrenaline Rush for both older and recent events.

This three-piece attraction includes crawl-through tunnels, inflatable obstacles, climbing areas and a large slide at the finish.

Adrenaline Rush measures approximately 34 feet long, 23 feet wide and 14 feet high and is designed for dry use.

It requires three separate 120V grounded electrical circuits, making electrical planning especially important.

When the Obstacle Course Is the Main Event

Few inflatables make the same impact as the Crash Course .

Trumbull has a long history with this attraction, including multiple large event setups over the years.

Crash Course packs more than 100 feet of obstacle challenges into a large figure-eight layout with tunnels, squeeze points, climbing and sliding.

It measures approximately 58 feet long, 30 feet wide and 24 feet high.

Because the unit weighs roughly 1,400 pounds, our crew needs easy equipment access to the setup area. This is not an attraction to choose for a difficult or tight backyard.

Planning for Preschoolers or Younger Children?

A huge racing course isn't always the right fit when the event is focused on younger children.

The Fun Express Toddler Train offers lower climbing, sliding and obstacle activities that are easier for smaller children to navigate.

Its lower height can also make it useful for some indoor preschool, school, church and gym events.
