Why the Backyard Obstacle Works Well for Home PartiesThe 40ft Backyard Obstacle has been rented for an Ardsley event and remains one of the most practical racing courses in our current collection. It measures approximately 40 feet long, 11 feet wide and 13 feet high. Participants compete head to head while climbing, crawling and working through a series of challenges before reaching the slide. The course is designed for dry use and normally requires one separate 120V grounded electrical circuit. If the inflatable needs to be placed farther from the house or the property is not perfectly level, an additional blower and electrical circuit may occasionally be required. Have More Space? Step Up to Adrenaline RushArdsley customers have also rented the Adrenaline Rush for a larger local event. This is a very different setup from the Backyard Obstacle. Adrenaline Rush is a three-piece attraction filled with crawl-through tunnels, pop-up obstacles, climbing areas and a large slide at the finish. It measures approximately 34 feet long, 23 feet wide and 14 feet high. Adrenaline Rush is designed for dry use and requires three separate 120V grounded electrical circuits. If your location doesn't have enough available circuits near the setup area, ask us about adding a generator . Want the Obstacle Course to Match the Birthday Theme?A racing course doesn't have to look generic. Our current obstacle-course collection includes themed attractions featuring Sonic the Hedgehog, Avengers, Jurassic World, Spider-Man, Star Wars, Despicable Me and a giant Fire Truck obstacle. These courses are a good choice when you want the main inflatable to provide both the activity and a major part of the party theme. Planning a Summer Birthday?Several of our larger themed obstacle courses can be used wet or dry. Options such as Avengers , Jurassic World , Spider-Man , Star Wars and Despicable Me combine obstacle-course activity with a large slide finish. Use them dry for a traditional racing course or add water when the weather is warm and you want the slide to become part of the summer fun. A Different Theme for Firefighter FansThe 45ft Fire Truck Obstacle gives kids a rescue-themed course built around a giant fire truck and burning-house design. It measures approximately 45 feet long, 11 feet wide and 13 feet high, keeping the course relatively narrow while giving the party a completely different visual theme. This can be a fun option for a firefighter-themed birthday, school program, fundraiser or community event. Something Better Sized for Younger ChildrenA 40ft or 50ft racing course may be more than you need when most of the guests are preschool age. The Fun Express Toddler Train offers lower climbing, sliding and obstacle activities that are easier for smaller children to navigate. Its lower overall height can also make it useful for some indoor school, preschool, church and gym events. Planning a School, Church or Larger Group Event?For a larger event, the best obstacle course depends on participant ages, expected attendance, available field space and electrical service. A narrow Backyard Obstacle may be all you need for a smaller group, while Adrenaline Rush or Extreme can create a much larger centerpiece attraction. Check the Space, Power & Access Before BookingObstacle courses vary significantly in width and electrical requirements. The Backyard Obstacle normally requires one separate circuit, many themed 50ft courses require two, and Adrenaline Rush requires three. New England Bounce About can also provide generators when sufficient electrical service isn't available near the setup area. Please let us know ahead of time about hills, gates, long equipment moves or other unusual access conditions, particularly when considering one of the larger attractions.
